My third great-grandfather, Samuel Kemp (1816-1872), was, according to the 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses and the Boston Tax Records, 1822-1918, a sailmaker or the founder and head of a sail making company in Salem, Massachusetts, and his place of residence there was 102 Bridge Street, according to the U.S., City Directories.
